This is an excellent book. The pictures are tremendously captivating. Looks like a photo shoot was done specifically for the book instead of using available (stock)pictures. This method, though expensive, helps the author control the narrative and stay ahead. Full credit to the photographer for not making people stare into the camera.
A lot of people I know have been featured esp from Athangudi, Devakottai, Karaikudi, Pallathur. The kavadi group people are well know to me. I am sure this will be of help to the community, as they go about doing the Nagarathar functions in their homes.
